Seawork International, 11th to 13th June, Stand Q2
Fischer Panda UK will offer live demonstrations of its Lloyd’s Type Approved generators and complete systems for the first time at this year’s Seawork International.
Celebrating its 25th anniversary year in 2019, Fischer Panda will introduce its upgraded display trailer at the show to showcase a strengthened range of products for the commercial market, suitable for demanding applications including ROVs, disaster relief, offshore, workboat, fishing, tugs, military and light commercial vessels.
The new certification for its fixed and variable speed generators enables Fischer Panda UK to manage an increased scope of commercial projects which require recognised approval. Customers can also benefit from the Verwood company’s full-system design capability, servicing and aftercare as a major supplier of the latest technology in air-conditioning systems, hybrid electric propulsion systems, integrated mobile power solutions and watermakers.
Offering visitors to the show a unique, interactive experience, the new customised Fischer Panda trailer on Stand Q will offer a stand-out opportunity to learn about the market-leading range of generators, Village Marine watermakers, Dometic air-conditioning systems, electric drive systems and battery management equipment in a more practical way. Specialists from the Verwood-based company will also be available to discuss and advise on the most suitable and cost-effective options for specific vessels.
The Lloyd’s type approval covers the fixed-speed Panda 4000s Neo and the Panda 5000i Neo, both using the in-house designed water-cooled FPE320 single cylinder diesel engine, as well as the expanding variable speed range of iSeries gensets up to the larger units such as the Panda 45i.
The factory choice for boat builders, Fischer Panda generators are designed to be compact, quiet and powerful, meeting customer demand for low operating sound levels and vibrations. All the iSeries generators are fitted with the renowned Fischer Panda sound insulation and water cooling. Meeting emission standards is also a priority, which is why the generators feature modern, innovative and environmentally-friendly inverter technology.
Fischer Panda UK also supplies electric and hybrid drive systems to commercial boat builders and owners for newly built vessels or retro-fitting, offering cost and efficiency benefits due to these environmentally-friendly systems. Fischer Panda can now offer drive systems in the range from 2 kW to 100 kW, available with voltages ranging from 24V to 360V depending on the power requirements. Designed to be used as battery only systems or with the support of a DC generator as a 'range extender', the Fischer Panda EasyBox electric drive systems are designed for commercial vessels, such as taxi boats and small ferries, requiring drive redundancy.
Fischer Panda UK’s experienced engineers, sales and operational staff work with OEMs to develop integrated systems for custom vessels and offer specialist technical support and on-going aftercare to its customers.
