Louise Sims is a commercial leader with a sharp operational mindset and a passion for excellence. Promoted to Commercial Director in 2026, she brings business acumen, a standards-driven focus and a commitment to nurturing talent, particularly among women in traditionally male-dominated sectors.
She joined Fischer Panda UK | Power Solutions as Commercial Manager in 2022 and quickly established herself as a trusted coordinator. Louise has strengthened commercial operations, ensuring projects across marine, specialist vehicles and defence are delivered with consistency and care, while fostering strong relationships across the business. She fosters a culture where talent is recognised and developed, demonstrating that true leadership combines skill, confidence, and compassion.
Her progression within the company illustrates both commitment and a practical, hands-on approach to making a difference. In her current role, Louise oversees commercial operations and champions quality management, including ISO 9001:2015 compliance, helping the business maintain high standards while supporting teams and customers. Attention to detail is central to her work. Louise has played a key role in embedding processes that underpin quality and reliability across the business, ensuring teams consistently meet customers’ expectations and regulatory requirements while maintaining a people-focused approach.
Outside work, Louise is a self-confessed petrolhead with a passion for cars and motorsport, reflecting the same curiosity and enthusiasm she brings to her role. She also has a lifelong devotion to horse riding and a deep affection for animals, having rescued several over the years. Pilates, gym sessions and cooking, particularly for her family, bring her a welcome sense of balance. Alongside family, social responsibility is very important to her. Over the years, she has given her time to charitable causes including Riding for the Disabled, Marie Curie and fundraising for Salisbury District Hospital’s Stars Appeal.
