Fischer Panda UK is among the first companies to achieve ISO 9001:2015 certification, an internationally-recognised standard for quality management systems.
The leading systems supplier has received the new accreditation for its purpose-built facility in Verwood, Dorset, following an assessment by the British Standards Institution (BSI) which determined the company met the operational requirements for the sales, installation, service and support of mobile generator systems and associated products in the marine, vehicle and military markets.
Originally certified as ISO 9001:2008 compliant in January 2015, Fischer Panda’s latest endorsement is valid for three years from September 2017 and demonstrates the company’s continued commitment to the highest levels of quality management and customer satisfaction.
Barry Fower, Managing Director, Fischer Panda, said: “We made the decision to invest in the transition to the ISO 9001:2015 standard so that we could affirm and renew our drive for continual improvement across the business. We are particularly proud to be one of the first businesses to have met the challenging criteria and to have proved our progression to the auditors so promptly. Our success in achieving the new certification reflects Fischer Panda’s dedication to maintaining a high quality of management, internal processes and services, benefiting our partners and employees and assuring customers of high levels of performance and satisfaction.”
With more than a million organisations certified to ISO 9001, it is the most widely recognised standard in the world and sets out guidelines for superior quality management systems which suit individual needs and reflect current trends including new technology, greater access to information, higher customer expectations and globalisation. It requires businesses to demonstrate continuous improvement, while implementing efficient and streamlined operations, with the aim of satisfying more customers and building a sustainable company.
