Both filters achieve the same results in prolonging the life of the pre-filter elements. The Multi Media Filter provides longer intervals between maintenance.
Either are highly recommended for harbour or shallow water operation, as well as fishing grounds and areas such as the Pacific North West where plankton levels are high.
